Moundsville West Virginia Penitentiary
Moundsville West Virginia Penitentiary was jailing convicts since 1876. The prison unlocked all the doors in 1995 and since that time, the penitentiary is same as a mere monumental institution. For 129 years, the prison had sentenced serious or wrongful outlaws by hangings, electrified, or beaten to death. In the past, the penitentiary housed hundred angry peoples and once they died, their voices still left on the alley, the attic, the footsteps, the toilets, and the cells.
Ohio State Reformatory or Mansfield Reformatory
Ohio State Reformatory was active since 1896 and at first; the reformatory only housed 150 wrongdoers. Until the prison shut down in December 31, 1990, the prison had imprisoned more than 155,000 male convicts and some should rest their soul forever behind the cold wall of the prison after tortured, beaten, and electrified or stabbed by other convicts. Frontier Prison from Rawlings or also called the Old Pen started operational in the early 1900’s and it has been inactive since the first quarter of 1980’s. The Eastern State Penitentiary
